Our regulars’ favourites are Butter Chicken, Chicken Korma, Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Biryani. Butter Chicken is our chef’s speciality. Goat Curry on the bone, Lamb Rogan Josh and Garlic Naan, made from dough we prepare in-house, are popular too.

Spicy Affair Indian Cuisine is owned by Sanjeev Negi, who opened the restaurant at 909A Albany Highway, East Victoria Park, in 2012. Sanjeev learned to cook from his family in India and in restaurant kitchens, and Spicy Affair has been family-run ever since.
No. Spicy Affair is a dinner restaurant, open Wednesday to Monday from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM and closed on Tuesdays. We don’t serve breakfast or lunch, but you can order dinner for takeaway online or by phone.
No. Our menu is North Indian: curries, tandoori, biryani and naan. We don’t serve South Indian dishes such as dosa, or Indo-Chinese dishes such as hakka noodles. Some curries, like our Madras, use a South Indian-style masala gravy.
Our naan dough, chutneys and lassis are made in our own kitchen rather than bought in ready-made, and so is our gulab jamun dessert. Vegetables and fresh produce are bought from the market from trusted sellers.
Korma is a mild, creamy curry made with cashews and gentle spices, while tikka masala is a tangier tomato-and-onion gravy with roasted, marinated chicken. Korma is nutty and slightly sweet; tikka masala is more savoury with a little more warmth.
